But this craft could be so neat for you to make with your child especially if you are expecting a new baby.  This will help your child to get excited about the arrival of the baby and at the same time give your child a feeling of accomplishment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Baby's First Vase&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Materials Needed:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Glue (make sure the glue will adhere to glass and paper)&lt;br /&gt;vase&lt;br /&gt;baby themed scrapbook paper&lt;br /&gt;matching ribbon&lt;br /&gt;gemstones&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Instructions:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Sure, they will enjoy swimming, and eating snow cones but kids also enjoy playing with bubbles. Goodness, even most adults enjoy playing with bubbles!  How about having the kids make their own bubbles and bubble blower?  This will be a fun craft for them to make and enjoy afterwards.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Materials Needed for Bubbles:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;1/2 cup Dish soap &lt;br /&gt;1 1/2 cups Water &lt;br /&gt;2 teaspoons Sugar &lt;br /&gt;Medium sized mixing bowl or cup &lt;br /&gt;Spoon &lt;br /&gt;Jar with lid&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Materials Needed for Bubble Blower:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;1 Drinking straw (2 if you cut the pop holder into smaller parts) &lt;br /&gt;1 six pack soda pop holder plastic deal (the six ring things that go around the soda pop cans) &lt;br /&gt;Scotch tape &lt;br /&gt;Pan (to pour bubbles into) &lt;br /&gt;Scissors&lt;/em&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How To Make Bubbles:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Mix all 3 ingredients together. Don't stir or shake too much. &lt;br /&gt;Store in the jar with lid. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How To Make the Bubble Blower:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tape the holder to the straw. &lt;br /&gt;Pour bubbles into pan. &lt;br /&gt;Dip into bubbles and twirl around. To a kid a simple drawing of a smiley face is enough to make them proud.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This easy kid's craft idea will be fun and will show your child that you too are proud of their work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;How To Create A Work of Art Magnet&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Materials Needed:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Construction Paper&lt;br /&gt;Crayons&lt;br /&gt;Glue&lt;br /&gt;Popcicle Sticks&lt;br /&gt;Cardboard&lt;br /&gt;Magnet (size is dependent on embellishments)&lt;br /&gt;Embellishments (such as buttons, ribbons, small pebbles, glitter)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cut cardboard to one 5x5 inch square.  Cut one piece of construction paper to 5x5 inch square.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Allow child to draw his/her picture on the construction paper using crayons.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Glue work of art to cardboard.  Allow to dry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, allow the child to decorate four popsicle sticks with the chosen embellishments.  Be sure embellishments are dry before going to the next step.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Glue the popcicle sticks to the four edges of the picture to create a frame.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Glue a magnet to the back of the cardboard.
